Congratulations! You were elected to fill vital roles in running your Committee. Both your roles do similar functions. The difference is that the Co-chair will either partner with or take on the Chair responsibilities in his absence from the meeting and at times take on special assignments as delegated by the Chairperson.
Here is your job description:
A. You lead the meeting and discussion according to the Committee’s mission.
B. You make sure that everyone who stood up to be included in the Committee gets the fair chance to be heard and participate.
C. You take the lead on making sure action items are accomplished.
D. You create the agenda in partnership with the other officers to accomplish the Committee’s mission.
E. You give the Committee report at the Pillar Assembly meeting.
F. You fill out any purchase order requests based on a committee approval vote. If the GA passes your funding request, you will be responsible to make sure the purchase is completed properly.
