The Pillar Secretary’s position is vital to the Pillar’s function. Highly organized and self motivated people are encouraged to fill this role. A Pillar Secretary’s job includes:
- Keep a running list of the name of officers for all committees under that Pillar including chair, co-chair, and secretaries
- Make sure the video meetings/Meeting Minutes are created and sent to Records for archive
- Summarize meetings so officers know where we left off, what the action items are, and who is responsible for them
- Prepare the agenda for upcoming meetings in partnership with the Chair and Co-Chair
- Email meeting links to the group to make sure members of the pillar are alerted to the meeting time and date and have access
